Upon receiving shutters:
Shutters must be removed from the crate or packaging immediately upon arrival and stored in a safe place. Shutters left in package will result in damage. Shutters must on be stored in areas where they could be subject to high humidity, excessive heat or other extreme conditions before being finished and installed.
Installation Tips:
- Prime and Paint Shutters: It's essential to finish shutters correctly. Shutters should be primed and painted on all faces and edges, with an exterior-grade top-coat.
- Use Exterior Grade Hardware: Ensure all screws and hinges are rust-resistant. Stainless steel hinges and hardware (sold separately) is ideal in harsher climate locations.
- Follow Manufacturer Instructions: Installation instructions will be included with all shutters. Adhere to these guidelines provided by the manufacturer. Failure to comply with instructions will void the warranty.
