Purpleheart is especially popular as an accent wood. Its rich and bold purple tones create a dramatic contrast against lighter species, working beautifully with birch, hard maple, ash, oak, and other pale-colored woods. Use it to add eye-catching detail to furniture, cutting boards, inlays, boxes, serving boards, and other woodworking projects.

S4S (Surfaced Four Sides): Clean, smooth cuts on all four sides. These boards are ready to use and ideal for DIY projects, crafts, small builds, and applications where minimal preparation is desired.
- S2S1E (Surfaced Two Sides, One Edge): Smoothly surfaced on both faces with one straight, clean edge. This option is more economical and gives woodworkers flexibility to further mill, trim, or shape the board according to their project needs.
Wood samples are also available, allowing you to see and evaluate the grain, color, and texture before placing a larger order.
Freshly cut Purpleheart may appear brownish, but its distinctive purple color becomes more pronounced with time and exposure to light.
Because Purpleheart is exceptionally dense and hard, use sharp tools and slower cutting speeds when working with it. Pre-drilling is recommended for screws and hardware. Sanding dust may cause irritation, so use proper ventilation and respiratory protection when machining the wood.
