Shipping*

  • When applicable on order, free shipping option is available only to addresses within the contiguous 48 states of the United States.
  • We ship to the 48 contiguous United States. For shipping quotes to Alaska, Hawaii, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or Canada, call us at 919-803-1330 (option 3).
  • Small and medium packages are typically shipped via USPS or UPS. Large items are usually shipped via South-Eastern Freight Lines. Some items require a street (physical) address for delivery.
  • At checkout, you’ll see an estimate of your shipping costs. Estimated delivery dates are listed on each product page. If your order is not expected to ship within one week, we’ll email you with an estimated ship date.


Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 45 days of the date the order was shipped to you. Items must be in resalable condition to receive a full merchandise refund.
  • If we shipped the wrong item or the item is defective, we will cover the return shipping cost.
  • Please allow up to a couple of weeks to receive your refund after you hand the package to the return shipper. This includes transit time back to us, processing time, and your bank’s processing time. In many cases refunds arrive sooner.
  • Return shipping labels are available on request. If you choose to use a return label we provide, the shipping charge will be deducted from your refund. Please return items in their original packaging and include a copy of your order receipt or your order number to speed up processing.

Damaged Items Received

  • If your item was damaged in transit, please email customer support at TWSorders@capitolcitylumber.com with:
    1. Your order number
    2. A photo of the packaging/box as you received it
    3. A photo of the damaged item
  • Do not throw away the box or packaging until we contact you; it may be needed for the carrier damage claim.
