Victoria High Pyramid Black Post Cap has a base of unfinished Cedar. Deckorators brand cap covered with a durable glossy black plastic finish. This deck cap is designed to slip right over your post cap.
The Cedar wood on this cap provides more stability. These decorative post caps are used to add a finishing touch to any deck or fence. Post caps can also be used to cover irregular posts whether 4" x 4" or 6" x 6" in size. Install caps by applying an exterior caulk to the under-side or by simply using finishing nails to nail the post cap to the post.
BEFORE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: It is recommended to apply a sealer on ALL wood parts (top, bottom, inside and sides) of the cap BEFORE installation. Applying and maintaining a sealer on the caps will help minimize this movement over time and give you a much longer life of your cap.
