Product Description
S2S1E Kiln-dried (surfaced 2 sides and 1 edge)Hard Maple Hardwood Lumber Boards for Woodworkers. These boards are partially dressed. Boards are “skip” surfaced on both faces with 1 edge clean-ripped. Skip surfaced cleans up most of the roughness to the board, but there could be an occasional rough patch on the faces of boards. Additional dressing and planning of the boards may be needed to complete your project. Since one edge is left rough, please allow a 1” variance in the width of the board.
Hard Maple, also known as Sugar Maple, grown in Canada and USA, is a pale reddish brown to a light tan. Typically Hard Maple has a straight grain. Because of its hardness, Hard Maple is used for cutting blocks and flooring in bowling alleys and roller skating rinks.

All the wood was fine, customer service lacking
The lumber was fine. Nice phone call and message to let me know the lumber was ready for pick up. The young man that waited on me was rude and could have cared less. Tossed the sales receipt to me to sign. I carried 4 boards out, he carried two. Barely walked thru the front door, laid mine against the wall and said here you go. My truck was only 20 feet away. I won't be back. For the price of lumber I expect and do get better service elsewhere. From the Seller: I'm so sorry to hear you did not have a good experience when picking up your order. We will address this with our staff and do our best to provide excellent customer service next time.
