Our premium Hard Maple Hardwood Lumber Boards, expertly surfaced on all four sides (S4S) and kiln-dried to ensure optimal quality and durability. These boards are a step above our S2S1E options, providing a smoother finish and clean edges on all four sides. Ideal for woodworking projects, these boards may require additional dressing and sanding to achieve your desired finish.
Appearance and Grain
Hard Maple, also known as Sugar Maple, is characterized by its beautiful pale reddish-brown to light tan color, featuring a straight grain that enhances its aesthetic appeal. This fine hardwood is not only visually striking but also exceptionally robust, making it a favored choice for demanding applications such as shelving, cutting blocks, cabinets and furniture.

If you need a custom size not listed above, contact us for availability.
Local pickup only: Local customers may order multiple 4' or 5' boards and request that they not be cut so boards remain 8' or 10' in length. Please indicate this request on your order in the message field.
Grading and Quality
Our Hard Maple boards are graded F.A.S. (First and Seconds), with a fairly clear front face. Do note that the back side may present a few knots, wane, and other minor defects, particularly in boards wider than 5 inches. Occasionally, you may find an end check (a small crack at the end of the board), which does not affect the overall integrity.
