Mahogany Hardwood Lumber Boards
Experience the beauty and versatility of our Mahogany Hardwood Lumber Boards, surfaced on four sides (S4S) and kiln-dried for optimal quality. These boards are more refined than our S2S1E boards, crafted from high-quality S2S material. While they are surfaced, additional dressing and sanding may be required to achieve your desired finish.
Mahogany wood showcases a stunning array of colors, ranging from deep reds and browns to vibrant pinks and light tan hues. Sourced from Central and Northern South America as well as tropical African regions, the boards vary in width and availability, making them a perfect choice for furniture and cabinetry. This hardwood cuts easily and takes stains beautifully.
Our Mahogany boards are graded F.A.S. (First and Seconds), ensuring a fairly clear front face. Some minor imperfections may be present on the back side, including knots, wane, and other small defects, particularly in boards wider than 5 inches. You may also notice occasional end checks (small cracks at the ends of boards).
For a more economical option, consider our S2S1E Hardwoods, which are finished on three sides.
