This siding has a bevel with the butt side being 11/16" thick and the tapered side being 3/16" thick. Left rough on one side for a more rustic look. Graded a select tight knot grade for the rough side. This grade does allow for knots, but the knots should be tight and not as likely to fall out. The back side is smoother, but can have more imperfections from milling. We DO NOT recommend using the smooth side as it may not be perfectly clear and has been made to use the rough side.
Can be used exterior or interior. Available in a 6", 8" or 10" wide board.
Sample pieces are for sizing only and can come clear, but siding is knotty and will have knots.
This is an untreated Western Red Cedar siding. Cedar is naturally resistant to rot and decay. For harsher climates, we recommend using Classic Woodlife Wood Preservative, sold separately, on all sides then applying an exterior sealer or primer on all sides before installing.

Cedar Bevel Siding
You have to be a little desperate to order cedar bevel siding from almost 3000 miles away but I couldn't find any good quality material locally to replace some rotten planks before painting my house. Not only did Total Wood Store offer the product I needed at a reasonable price, it was easy to order on line, shipped promptly, and arrived in the most perfect condition. And the wood itself is absolutely beautiful! I could not be happier!

No junk boards
As many know, there are challenges when ordering wood online. My experience has been that, almost assuredly, 5%-10% of the wood received is warped or has other defects. Appreciate that Total Wood Store didn't send any junk boards. All the beveled cedar siding received was in great condition. Thank you, as a quality product will keep me coming back : ). Just wish you guys had a 12' length I could order.

excellent lap siding
I used this product in the eaves of a building I otherwise finished with board/batt and shake. The boards were very high quality with high quality finish sand on the exposed side. Shipping was very fast. Best price online for sure.
