Rustic rough Western Red Cedar in a 6"x6" timber. These timbers are air-dried or partially wet. Timbers are a #2 appearance grade which allows for knots and wane and can have end checks and side cracks for timbers this size. Dimensions are approximately 5-7/8" by 5-7/8". Western Red Cedar is naturally resistant to rot and decay and more stable than pine. Cedar tends to have deeper cracks as it naturally dries. This is an ideal wood to use for exterior projects.

Our maximum parcel length for UPS/FedEx is 7'10". Orders of 8', 10', and 12' must ship via motor freight and incur additional fees. For 8' material to be shipped via motor freight—leave a note at checkout and we will contact you with additional freight charges based on your location. Typical motor freight for 8' material starts at about $400.
For 10' and 12' timbers, please contact our sales department to receive a quote, as these sizes require special handling.

6x6 WR Cedar
Logs were great, good color and dried out well. The best part was they were cut slightly longer than requested dimensions which made squaring them up for the project perfect without being short. Also the delivery driver was fantastic and delayed the delivery a day to avoid soaking the wood in rain.
