Product Description
Technisoil Nanopave Sealer Stabilizer (Gallon) — Natural or Gloss Finish
Bring out the best in your hardscape with Nanopave® Technisoil, a next-generation 2‑in‑1 sealer and joint stabilizer engineered specifically for pavers, natural stone, flagstone, and brick. Available in Natural (mat) and Gloss (wet‑look) finishes, this advanced nano‑polymer formula protects surfaces while strengthening joints for beautiful, long‑lasting patios, walkways and driveways.
Key Benefits
- 2-in-1 performance: seals surfaces to enhance color and resist stains while stabilizing joint material to prevent washout and weed growth.
- Deeper penetration for superior hold: nano‑monomers penetrate pores and voids more effectively than conventional sealers, creating stronger, longer‑lasting bonds between joint particles.
- Exceptional joint strength: forms a durable bond in joint material up to 4 inches thick—ideal for crushed stone or sand joints in heavy‑use areas.
- Weather and wear resistant: helps resist erosion, freeze/thaw damage, foot and vehicle traffic, and routine maintenance wear.
- Enhances natural beauty: preserves and deepens color and texture. Choose Gloss for a vibrant “wet” look or Natural for a subtle, matte finish that keeps the true stone appearance.
- Versatile application: safe and effective on pavers, concrete pavers, flagstone, natural stone, and brick.
Why Nanopave® Technisoil? Nanopave® combines breakthrough nano‑monomer technology with an easy‑to‑apply formula that goes beyond surface sealing. The microscopic particles travel deeper into the substrate, chemically bonding joint material and forming a cohesive matrix that dramatically reduces joint erosion and improves load distribution across the paved surface. The result: fewer repairs, reduced maintenance, and a hardscape that looks newer, longer.
Finishes
- Natural (Ghost/Flat): subtle, matte appearance that preserves the stone’s original look.
- Gloss: high‑sheen, wet look that intensifies colors and highlights texture.
Typical Uses
- Paver patios and driveways
- Flagstone walkways and terraces

Important Installation Information
Before purchasing NANOPAVE JSS® Joint Sealer, please confirm that your project and jointing material meet the following requirements:
- Suitable joint widths and materials:
- ⅛–¾ inch joints: Use clean masonry sand or playground sand.
- ¾–4 inch joints: Use a structurally sound crushed-stone mix or decomposed granite (DG), preferably ¼-inch minus or ⅜-inch minus.
- Avoid unsuitable materials: Do not use jointing materials containing clay, dirt, or materials lacking structural integrity. Highly screened or open-graded aggregates that improve permeability may not stabilize effectively.
- Joint preparation: Joints must be completely and uniformly filled. Sand or aggregate should be swept into the joints and compacted to eliminate air pockets and settle the material properly.
- Surface preparation: Remove all residual sand, dust, and loose aggregate from the paver or stone surface before application. Excess material left on the surface may affect the finished appearance.
- Test section: Always perform a test section first to confirm compatibility with the pavers or stone, jointing material, porosity, appearance, and project conditions.
- Coverage planning: Actual coverage depends on paver or stone porosity, joint width and depth, and the type of jointing material used. Approximate coverage is:
| Joint width |
Recommended joint material |
Approximate coverage |
|---|---|---|
| ¼–½ inch | Masonry sand | 75–100 sq. ft. per gallon |
| ½–¾ inch | Playground sand | 60–75 sq. ft. per gallon |
| ¾–4 inches | Crushed-stone mix or DG | 30–60 sq. ft. per gallon |
- Temperature: Install when both the ambient air temperature and the surface temperature are between 40°F and 90°F (4.4°C–32.2°C). Check both separately, since surface and air temperatures may differ.
- Temperature extremes: Avoid freezing temperatures and temperatures above 100°F during curing and storage. Shaded, low-sunlight, and colder areas may require longer curing times; direct sunlight and warmer conditions may shorten curing time.
- Weather and moisture: NANOPAVE JSS is water-based and may be applied to moderately damp surfaces and jointing materials. However, avoid excessively wet conditions and standing water. Do not install within approximately 24–48 hours before or after rainfall, and allow excessively wet areas to dry before application.
- Cure time: Water must evaporate for the product to cure. Under optimal conditions, curing typically takes 12–48 hours. Keep the area protected from rain, irrigation, moisture, and unnecessary foot traffic until fully cured.
- Application equipment: Application requires a low-pressure pump sprayer capable of approximately 25–40 psi, along with a foam rubber squeegee or equivalent. A push broom or leaf blower, hand tamp or rubber mallet, and—where appropriate—a vibratory plate compactor may also be needed.
- Application limits: Apply the manufacturer-recommended coverage rate in one application. Do not divide the recommended application rate into multiple coats.
- Overspray protection: Mask or shield adjacent surfaces before spraying to prevent overspray or accidental application. After spraying, remove excess or standing sealer from the pavement surface with a foam rubber squeegee and distribute it into the joints.
- Paver protection: Brittle paving materials may require hand tamping or a rubber mallet. Sturdier paving materials may be compacted with a vibratory plate compactor fitted with a suitable rubber sole.

Always read and follow the current NANOPAVE JSS® product label, technical data, safety information, coverage-rate recommendations, and complete installation guidelines before use. Actual performance and coverage may vary based on joint depth and width, material porosity, moisture, temperature, weather, surface conditions, and installation practices.
