Techniseal EkoFlo® Permeable Pebble Binder
Create attractive, durable, and water-permeable outdoor surfaces with Techniseal EkoFlo® Permeable Pebble Binder. This water-based resin binder is designed to lock clean, dry pea gravel and decorative pebbles together, producing a stable surface while allowing rainwater to flow through.
Ideal for patios, walkways, tree wells, borders, curbing, and drainage areas, EkoFlo® helps minimize surface water pooling and supports effective drainage. Once cured, the finished pebble surface provides a natural appearance, reliable stability, and high permeability.

Quick selection guide
- Small pebbles: Require more EKOFLO and provide less coverage.
- Medium pebbles: Require a moderate amount of EKOFLO.
- Large pebbles: Require less EKOFLO and provide greater coverage.

Important Installation Information
Before purchasing EKOFLO, please confirm that your project meets the following requirements:
- Compatible aggregate: Use clean, screened, triple-washed, and completely dry decorative aggregate. A pebble size of approximately ⅜ inch is generally recommended. Do not use wet, dirty, unwashed, limestone, lava rock, or dusty crushed materials.
- Suitable base: Install over a properly prepared, compacted, and draining subbase. EKOFLO is not intended for installation directly over concrete or other non-draining surfaces.
- Temperature: Installation and curing temperatures must remain between 55°F and 90°F (12.7°C–32.2°C).
- Weather and moisture: Do not install if rain is expected within 48 hours. Disable irrigation and protect the installation from water during curing.
- Curing: Keep the surface free from foot traffic, vehicles, pets, and moisture for approximately 24–72 hours, depending on site conditions.
- Edge support: Edge restraints are strongly recommended to help prevent movement and maintain stability.
- Safety: EKOFLO contains isocyanate. Wear appropriate protective equipment and review the product safety information before use. Individuals with isocyanate allergies or certain respiratory conditions should not handle the product.

EkoFlo and The Total Wood Store
EkoFlo permeable pebble binder is, quite frankly, an amazing product. Mixed with the rocks of your choice, it applies easily on the ground and sets within a days time. We also applied it to our bluestone pavers creating a look in her backyard that is just stunning. My only complaint is the difficulty of finding this particular product. However, Anita at the total wood store was absolutely a pleasure to deal with on the phone and somebody I would want to think in person, if I lived a little closer than Oregon. Due to calculation errors on my end, two orders had to be placed. Both orders arrived less than a week! She truly is a miracle worker! Thank you so much to the total wood store for making our project become a reality… I’m so very happy with the way everything turned out and would love to send pictures if possible!

It takes some time trial and error to figure out how best to mix and use the product, but once you get through that the results are outstanding. The product does exactly what it says it will do. I will definitely use it again.
