Elm, Burled Wood Veneer. Real unfinished Carpathian Elm Burled hardwood in a veneer sheet. Also known as English Elm burl grown in the Carpathian mountains of Central and Southeastern Europe. This veneer is sold by the 24" x 21" piece. Burled Elm has a rich tan hue with a curvy grain with occasional small tight knots characteristic of Burled wood. Ideal for an accent piece, furniture, jewelry box, clocks and other woodworking projects.

Due to the nature of burls having small knots, it is common for some knots to come loose from the veneer. We recommend using a similar wood coloring patching with wood putty to fix any missing or loose knots.
