Ipe (pronounced ee-pay) is an exotic hardwood from South America. As one of the densest hardwoods, IPE is ideal for decks and outside projects. The wood has a warm, rich color of golden brown to dark brownish red. IPE is economically friendly and resistant to mold, fire, weather and pests. Due to its beautiful color, it is often used interior as well as exterior.
The 1X6 has eased edges. Actual size is 3/4"x 5-1/2".
