Product Description
Newport Classic Plateau wood post caps protect and finish your posts with the natural look of wood. Choose either Cedar or Treated wood for cap material. These finely crafted post caps will protect your post and enhance your fence, porch or deck design for years to come.
Due to Cedar wood being a natural product and having a large range of coloring, the wood could range from a brownish pink to a light cream. Treated caps have a more uniform coloring.
Install by applying exterior caulk to the under-side of the post cap before placing it on the post.
BEFORE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Whether you choose a treated or cedar cap, it is recommended to apply a sealer on ALL wood parts (top, bottom, inside and sides) of the cap BEFORE installation. Please note, treated yellow pine has a tendency to twist and bow more than Cedar.
Applying and maintaining a sealer on the caps will help minimize this movement over time and give you a much longer life of your cap.

Quality Product!!
We just received these post caps and they are truly quality through and through. I placed the post cap on top of our fence and gave the top a little "thump" with my fist and down it went!! It is EXACTLY the correct size!!! Of course we will secure it later but, man, was that satisfying for it to fit so closely. We are very, very happy with this purchase.
