In-Line Garden Bed Plate
Add strength, stability, and a clean, secure finish to your raised garden bed.
The In-Line Garden Bed Plate is designed to join two cedar timbers—or other wood lumber—along the length of a raised garden bed. Made from 1/4-inch heavy-duty steel, the plate can be installed on either the inside or outside of the bed and accommodates virtually any lumber thickness.
A built-in spike sleeve holds the included 1/2-inch × 24-inch rebar rod, helping anchor the assembly firmly in place and keep your garden bed square and secure. The plate comes finished with an exterior red primer and can be coated with an exterior-grade paint for added corrosion resistance and a finished appearance.

Included Hardware
Each plate includes:
- 1/2-inch diameter × 24-inch-long rebar rod
- 1-1/4-inch exterior screws
Installation
- Position the plate where two timbers meet along the length of the garden bed.
- Install the plate on the inside or outside of the bed.
- Secure the plate to the timbers using the included exterior screws.
- Insert the included rebar rod through the spike sleeve.
- Drive the rebar into the ground to anchor the assembly.
For maximum corrosion resistance and a finished look, apply an exterior-grade paint after installation.
