Wood Life Wood Preservative This Shutter comes with a clear Wood Life preservative treatment already applied. Wood Life protects against rot, decay, and moisture damage. This treatment resist wood decay by inhibiting the surface growth of mold, mildew, and staining fungi. Its water repellent provides greater resistance to warping, splitting, and checking.
EXTEND the Life of your Shutter: Failure of most wooden shutters is due to moisture getting into the top of the shutters, expanding the shutter stiles. Protect the top of your shutters with our Aluminum Shutter Caps (sold separately). Looks great and gives your shutter a longer life!
Warranty There is a one year limited manufacturers warranty. Must prime and paint with an exterior grade paint on all 6 sides prior to installing on house.

Louvers on HD shutters
The louvers have jagged edges and not smooth edges, will have to hand sand them before painting.
