Ceiling & Paneling Sample — 3–4" verification piece (full profile visible) Purpose: Verify profile, size, grain, and finish compatibility on-site before ordering full-length boards. Each sample shows the complete cross-section so you can confirm tongue & groove fit, bead detail, and reveal depth under your lighting conditions.
Available sample profiles and sizes:
- Pickwick (T&G): 1x6, 1x8, 1x10 — classic, narrow-plank look for ceilings and walls.
- Cedar Tongue & Groove (rough one side): 1x4, 1x6, 1x8 — rustic, textured face ideal for exposed ceilings and exterior soffits.
- Clear Pine Double Bead: 1x6 — refined double-bead profile for traditional paneling and wainscot.
- YP Roofers: 2x6 — wide-board roof/ceiling application with strong shadow lines.
Sample details:
- Length: Approximately 3–4" — long enough to show the full profile and reveal how the profile reacts to light and finish.
- Use: Template matching for renovations, stain/paint testing, mock-ups for layout and sightlines, and verification of T&G fit and bead detail.
- Finish & handling notes: Samples are un-finished. Test your chosen stain, primer, or sealer on the sample to confirm absorption and color (especially with Cedar and Clear Pine). For T&G installations, confirm tongue depth and groove clearance with your substrate and fastener method.
