Order a profile sample of our Flat Astragal or T‑Astragal (Exterior or Interior) to confirm the shape and fit before placing a full order. Each sample is 3–4" long — large enough to verify profile, edge detail, and finish against your door or frame. Samples are sold individually; select the profile you want to receive.

Flat Astragal sample
- Description: Simple flat profile used where a minimal transition or seal is needed.
- Typical use: Interior or exterior applications where a flush profile is acceptable.
- Sample length: 3–4"

T‑Astragal sample — Interior (for 1-3/8" thick doors)
- Description: T-shaped profile sized for interior doors with 1-3/8" thickness; designed to fit the door edge and provide a stop or seal.
- Typical use: Interior single- or double-door installations, where the astragal mounts to the edge of a 1-3/8" door.
- Sample length: 3–4"

T‑Astragal sample — Exterior (for 1-3/4" thick doors)
- Description: T-shaped profile sized for exterior doors with 1-3/4" thickness; often includes a larger base or weather-stripping accommodation for better exterior sealing.
- Typical use: Exterior doors requiring a weather-tight seal and durable edge profile, fitted to 1-3/4" door thickness.
- Sample length: 3–4"
