SIMPSON ZMAX POST BASE is an adjustable post base that is beautiful and structural. Post Base secures columns and timbers to concrete or wood structure. Post Base available for nominal 4x4 and nominal 6x6 Posts. Outdoor accent hardware is made with 12 gauge steel and is powder coated with textured flat black paint. This item is slotted for adjusting but is also designed to meet strict building codes for seismic and/or high wind events. Post base stands one inch off the ground to protect the post from moisture and rot. Recommended to be installed with structural wood screws and hex head washers for a more decorative look (sold separately at this site). Bases sold individually.
