Clear cedar finial ball tops for a 6x6 post. Western Red Cedar is naturally resistant to rot and decay and holds up well in most external weather conditions. This ball cap can be left as is to age to a weather gray or can be stained or primed and painted with an exterior grade coating.
Preserving this cap with an exterior grade coating will allow for a longer life and help minimize checks and cracks.
Dimensions are 4-5/8" wide by 5-1/2" tall.

I have a Victorian House that is over 100 years old. I am redoing the porch. My old "balls" were rotting. I was having trouble finding a replacement. These are almost exactly the same except a tiny bit higher. So these can also work for Victorian homes even though they are called "colonial".
