Tip on Drapery Rod Purchases:  8' drapery rods need to be shipped through FedEX instead of USPS Priority mail.  Due to this, there is a minimum of 2 rods and higher shipping costs on the 8' versus 4' and 6' rods.  Another option is to get the Pole Connector Hardware which fits perfectly on the pre-drilled ends of the 4' and 6' rods.  For extra support, add a middle bracket or Hidden Rod Metal Support, sold separately.
