Cedar Channel Rustic Siding is a vertical cedar siding with a panel-like appearance. Often referred to as panel siding, it gives the look of traditional board and batten but is actually made of individual boards ship-lapped together.
This siding is reversible and can be installed on either side. The graded rough side offers a rustic, textured appearance, featuring a 1-inch channel between the boards when used on its rough face. The smoother back side is double- and center-V edged, providing a clean finish. It is suitable for both exterior and interior applications. Available in 8" and 10" wide boards.
Please note that samples are for sizing reference only and may appear clear, but the actual siding will likely have some tight knots, highlighting its rustic charm.
This is untreated Western Red Cedar siding, naturally resistant to rot and decay. For harsher climates, we recommend applying Classic Woodlife Wood Preservative (sold separately) on all sides, followed by an exterior sealer or primer before installation to enhance durability.
