Cedar Bevel Siding

Cedar Bevel Siding, sometimes called clapboard siding, offers a classic, rustic look that complements both traditional and modern home designs. Its natural resistance to rot and decay makes it an excellent choice for exterior applications, ensuring long-lasting beauty and durability. However, for added protection in harsher climates, we recommend treating the siding with a wood preservative and applying an exterior sealer or primer before installation. The back side of the wood is skip-surfaced smooth but may have imperfections. For a more consistent appearance, it is recommended to use the rough side. This can help achieve a cleaner, uniform finish in your project.

Western red cedar is naturally resistant to rot and decay, making it an excellent choice for siding. Its durability stems from its natural oils and tannins, which help protect the wood from moisture, insects, and fungi.

• Select Grade with tight knots
• Sample pieces available for sizing, but may not show knots that will be present in siding.
