Good product, close match to my original clips for the older siding. Only thing is that these should be called T trim clips because the true H clips are H shaped and these are T shaped. Not a deal breaker, just some extra info if needed by a future purchaser.

I think this trim works better than the traditional H-mold to hide the vertical seams of lap siding
Works better than the traditional H-mold. However, I called to check how wide the showing face of the trim was, and I was told 1/2" wide. This would have match my existing trim. What was shipped was actually 3/4" wide on the face front. I bought this because I was told it was 1/2" wide.

H-trim for hardboard siding
Previous butt joints on this 12" Masonite lap siding had buckled with expansion. Since I replaced the siding in cooler weather, this gave me a uniform space between pieces of lap siding and although I smeared some caulk on the butt ends of the boards, I didn't have to muck up my wood grain with wide bands of smooth caulking. Overall a good product.
