6 foot solid round hardwood dowels in Hickory, Ash, Maple, Cherry, Poplar/White Pine and Red Oak species. Choose from 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 1-3/4" or 2" diameters. Sanded smooth, these dowels are ready to be used for your project.
Dowels are unfinished.
PLEASE NOTE:
- 1" diameter by 72" long Dowels may contain some bend or warpage due to the length and thinness of this dowel.
- 2" diameter dowels are actually 1-15/16" diameter.

72" x 1 1/4" Hickory dowel
I am very pleased with this order. I make training weapons for martial arts and I was hesitant about ordering because the 72 x 1" rods were very bowed and it took a lot to make them usable. These 1 1/4" inch are very true and I am willing to continue to order again.

Hickory dowels
I purchased these to use as Bo staffs. While they appear to be solid and attractive, both are slightly bowed. I’m going to try and straighten them. It probably won’t affect their performance, but aesthetically I’d prefer them to be straight.
