Real wood White Birch veneer in a Plain-sliced cut. White birch has a tight grain with a whitish cream to light tan in appearance with darker veins running through the wood. This is an easy wood to stain and is a good contrast when used with darker wood veneers. White birch is an economical common domestic hardwood.

Birch veneer
Bought birch plywood from a big box store and could see the glue and next layer through the birch veneer. After building a cabinet and light sanding, I went right through! This veneer fixed that problem.
