Cedar Channel Rustic Siding

Cedar Channel Rustic Siding is made from rough sawn Western Red Cedar and is available in 1x8 and 1x10 widths. When installed vertically or horizontally, the overlapping boards form channels that cast shadows, enhance the look with depth, and provide weather protection while accommodating dimensional movement. This siding features natural oils and resins that resist rot, decay, and insects, making it highly durable. It offers a traditional reverse board and batten appearance with a tight knot Architectural Knotty grade, making it an excellent choice for both aesthetic appeal and long-lasting performance.

This siding is reversible and can be installed on either side. The graded rough side offers a rustic, textured appearance, featuring a 1-inch channel between the boards when used on its rough face. The smoother back side is double- and center-V edged, providing a clean finish. It is suitable for both exterior and interior applications. 

For harsher climates, we recommend applying Classic Woodlife Wood Preservative (sold separately) on all sides, followed by an exterior sealer or primer before installation to enhance durability.

Please note that samples are for sizing reference only and may appear clear, but the actual siding will likely have some tight knots, highlighting its rustic charm.

SHIPPING NOTE: Our longest length is 7'10" when shipping UPS or FedEx. Eight foot to twelve foot orders can be shipped motor freight with additional fees.
