PLEASE NOTE: The 3/0x6/8 4-lite door is a door we stock and should ship in 2 to 4 business days unless backordered.  The 3/0x7/0 door is a special order and will typically take 6-8 weeks for delivery.

For Pine Doors:  It is recommended to prime and paint door using a high quality exterior grade separate primer and paint.  This door is ideal in an area that has an overhang and more protected from exposure to weather.  If the door will be more exposed or in an area of the US that has harsher weather, it is recommended to use Classic Woodlife Preservative (sold separately) prior to priming and painting.  NOTE:  Staining this door instead of priming and painting will void the warranty.  Also, painting a dark or black color must be done with an exterior grade primer and an exterior grade top coat paint.  Using an interior product or using a primer and paint combined product will void the warranty.

Prior to Installation:  It is recommended to lay door flat and acclimate door inside garage or house where the door will be installed for a few days prior to installation.  Please do not lay door directly on the ground, keep elevated. Doors must be stored in a dry low humidity area.  To provide the best life of the door or if you will be staining the door, it is recommended to apply a few coats of the clear Woodlife Classic Wood Preservative BEFORE priming, staining or sealing the door.  Woodlife classic must be put directly on the raw wood. (Product sold separately through Total Wood Store.)  Seal or prime and paint ALL edges within 48 hours after door has been fitted.  Top and bottom edge of door should be sealed before installation.  It is recommended to prime and paint or stain with a high quality exterior grade product.

Shipping: The door ships motor freight.

We are renovating an early 19th century farmhouse for a vacation home. All of the doors are 4 panel and having had a six panel storm door for years at our home; we wanted to match the farmhouse front door . You made our day !
