Pyroguard Fire Retardant BC Plywood made by Hoover. This sheet is 3/4" thick. Chemically pressure treated and kiln-dried fire retardant chemicals to reduce the spread of flames and generation of smoke. This plywood will not spread fire and develops less smoke during a fire event. Pyroguard plywood may be substituted for materials classified as non-combustible in certain building types designed by the model building codes. Flame-Pro offers a 50-year limited warranty against structural failure due to heat or humidity.
This plywood will be either pine or fir. Plywood has a BC grade, front face (B grade) is smooth with minimal blemishes and mineral streaking, and could have a few pin knots. The back face (C grade) allows for more knots and blemishes. The treatment on this plywood is designed for enclosed interior structural applications only and should not be in direct contact to the weather or moisture. Ideal to use this plywood for Telecom/electrical panels, partition walls and other areas where plywood is visible.
If not in the Raleigh, NC area, this product needs to be shipped motor-freight. There is a minimum of 8 sheets per order.
